Empezó a tocar en una banda del Ejército de la Salvación para después incorporarse a la orquesta de baile "Burbujas". Cuando esta formación sufrió un rápido declive debido a la confusión mediática causada por el auge de un stripper excepcional del mismo nombre profesional, reanudó su carrera trabajando con grupos de ska, reggae, blues y jazz sin destacar gran cosa en ninguno (bueno, quizás en ska sí... Es miembro fundador de la mítica band Bristolense Moonshot, proveedores de ska fino desde 1980). Eso sí, siempre aportando la máxima seriedad, puntualidad y elegancia.
Llegó a Espana a mediados de los '80 convertido como especialista en proyectos "raroalternativos", y aparte de su sonido calido, es muy apreciado su habilidad para no molestar. Colaborador inevitable en las formaciones de; Los Missing Stompers, Mastretta, Baldo Martinez, Sir Charles, Antonio Bravo, Gher, Angel Rubio, Ensemble Impromptu, Charlie's Trousers, Fraskito, Maracaibo Teatro, Tracey Reid and the Sweet Rhythm Kings y Uniones Musicales (Torrellano, Hondón de las Nieves y El Altet).
Tiene, en estos momentos, tres grupos propios; Mister Atomic, The East Coast Trio y The Salvation Band. Para sus detractores y/o seguidores... piensa continuar haciendo más de lo mismo hasta que se harte de tanto viajar...

Started playing in a Salvation Army band, later joining the show-band "Bubbles". When this formation suffered a rapid decline due to the mediatic confusion caused by the rise to fame of an exceptional male stripper with the same stage-name, he resumed his career working with ska, reggae, blues and jazz bands, without standing-out much in any (well, maybe in ska...He's a founder member of the mythical Bristol band Moonshot, purveyors of fine ska since 1980. However he always offered maximum seriousness, punctuality and elegance.
He arrived in Spain mid '80's, converted in a specialist for "wierd-alternative" projects, and apart from for his warm sound, he is appreciated for his ability for not molesting. Inevitable collaborator in the formations of; The Missing Stompers, Mastretta, Baldo Martinez, Sir Charles, Antonio Bravo, Gher, Angel Rubio, Ensemble Impromptu, Charlie's Trousers, Fraskito, Maracaibo Teatro, Tracey Reid and the Sweet Rhythm Kings y Uniones Musicales (Torrellano, Hondón de las Nieves y El Altet).
He has, at this moment, three groups of his own; Mister Atomic, The East Coast Trio and The Salvation Band. For his critics and/or fans... he intends to carry on doing more of the same until he gets fed-up with so much travelling...
